- Never taken public money - BCAR has contributed millions to the City over its long history.

- Worked closely with City Board of Parking. All parties always informed of future trends, expected results, even in difficult times.
- State of the art controls, providing absolute integrity. BCAR uses computerized “AVI” revenue systems at all ramps. Cash and internal controls audited repeatedly; never any negative comments.
- We have planned long-term, leading to stable rates and no need for subsidies. Remember, BCAR has paid all costs, bonds, repairs. City has never had to put a penny into the BCAR system.
- Audited annually by independent public accountants and several times by the City Comptroller.
- Cooperation and coordination with City retail community and other downtown groups.
- Economic vitality of downtown is dependent on reasonably priced, quality parking.
- Safe, inexpensive parking will have positive effect on downtown. City will benefit economically through stabilization of downtown tax base.
